4K Full-Color Sensor for Daytime Hunting

The daytime digital channel clearly reproduces objects from a distance of 10 meters and beyond. Using the Thermion Duo DXP as a daytime riflescope is always easy and convenient since the lens requires no focusing. The 4K CMOS sensor delivers excellent levels of detail and object identification across the entire zoom range, from 2x to 16x. Daytime hunting is not only comfortable with the Thermion Duo DXP but also technologically advanced. A full-color image, typical of classic daytime optics, is combined with significant digital features. At any time, a hunter can save an image, modify the reticle's design and color, or connect the riflescope to a smartphone.

Highly Sensitive 640×480 @ NETD < 25 mK Thermal Sensor

The highly sensitive, European-made thermal sensor with a NETD value of < 25 mK can detect even the smallest temperature differences during observations in low-contrast temperature conditions, such as in rain or fog. The 640×480 pixel resolution ensures reliable target identification, high-quality visualization of essential anatomical features of an animal, and the smallest details of the surrounding environment. The Thermion Duo utilizes modern algorithms to achieve unprecedented levels of clarity, contrast, and image detail. The thermal channel, leveraging a wide range of midtones, can reproduce complex scenes featuring low-contrast objects and uniform heat signatures, such as the sky, grass, or water surfaces. The increased detail and software that sharpens objects from various distances produce a highly informative thermal image. By manually increasing the sensitivity of the thermal sensor, it's possible to improve animal detection quality as observation conditions worsen. An image uniformity filter, along with brightness and contrast settings, ensures comfort during long observation sessions. The daytime channel provides an ideal image in both sunny and cloudy weather.

Combined Multispectral Vision Modes

The Thermion Duo offers four observation modes. The digital image is used for daytime hunting. The thermal mode is designed for nighttime conditions and as an alternative for challenging daytime situations; fog, dense clouds, rain, direct or side sunlight, tall grass, bushes, and trees in the line of sight can hinder the ability to detect an animal, observe it clearly, and accurately assess its characteristics. The "Picture-in-Picture" function of the Thermion Duo allows images from both optical channels to be displayed simultaneously, giving priority to either the thermal or digital image.

Thermal Detection Range of 1800 m, Day and Night

The advantage of thermal vision lies in its ability to quickly detect animals at any time of the day. At night, it is the most effective method for detecting game from great distances.
