High-Quality Reinforced Magnesium Alloy Housing

The Pulsar Axion 2 thermal observation monocular is designed for constant use, often in challenging environmental conditions. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight and durable at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal monocular from impacts, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, the metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise, and increases the device's stability during long-term observations.

High-Sensitivity Lynred Sensor of European Manufacturing

The Axion 2 thermal monoculars are equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (pixel size 17 µm) - XQ35 version / 640x488 pixels (pixel size 12 µm) - XG35 version, which capture the useful signal with quality in challenging observation conditions such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.

Fast F35/1.0 Aperture Lens

The germanium F35/1.0 lens offers high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Thanks to the high manufacturing precision of the lens optical elements, the image generated by the Axion 2 thermal device stands out for its sharpness and details.

Extended Battery Life. Up to 11 Hours on a Single Charge

A high-capacity rechargeable APS5 battery provides, depending on the model, up to 11 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The battery can be removed from the housing and replaced with a new one in a few seconds. The battery can be charged using a dedicated charger or inside the device from a PC, household electrical outlet, or a power bank via USB-C. The same sources can be used for external power supply.

Enhanced Wi-Fi Connectivity with 2.4/5 GHz Band Support

The Axion 2 thermal cameras can be connected to smartphones via a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer speed, noise protection, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and straightforward operation of the thermal camera through your smartphone.

Detection Range of up to 1750 m

A powerful F35/1.0 lens, combined with a highly sensitive thermal sensor, provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected up to 1750 m away in complete darkness.

Pocket-Size and Lightweight

Axion 2 has a pocket-size space-saving design and weighs only 300 grams. The device is easy to handle and use, both for right-handed and left-handed individuals, thanks to the symmetrical design and inline button layout on the top panel.

Variable Magnification

The digital zoom provides better focus and overall better object recognition at significant distances. The zoom changes gradually with 2x increments or continuously for a truly optimal and personalized field of view for specific situations.

Integrated Photo and Video Recorder. 16 GB of Free Cloud Space

The Axion 2 features an integrated video recorder. The internal memory of the Axion 2 can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. Just press a button to take a picture of an interesting scene or start recording video. The footage can be copied to a computer's hard drive via a USB-C port. The owner of Axion 2 has 16 GB of free disk space to store photos and videos captured with the device in Pulsar's cloud storage. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, log in, and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.

The integrated WiFi connects the Axion 2 to Android and iOS smartphones through the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a wide range of options, including wireless software updates for the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, posting photographic and video content from the device to social media or messaging systems, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. In addition, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage space for photos and videos recorded with the device.

Quick Start

The Axion 2 has a short start-up time: the device is fully operational within 5 seconds after pressing the power button. Quick start helps save battery charge: during hunting, the Axion 2 does not need to be ready all the time; just turn it on when necessary.

The high-contrast AMOLED display has improved color rendering, energy efficiency, and a rapid response, providing sharp and smooth images even in freezing conditions.

Selection of 8 Color Palettes

A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, enabling them to optimize the unit for specific activities and react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase recognition and identification chances. Monochrome Red, Sepia, and Purple are more suitable for long nighttime observations.
